Vitapower
In 2023, Hortipower's success expanded with the acquisition of an adjacent horticultural company named Vitapower. The new company was refreshed and immediately started growing tomatoes according to the same principles of innovation and sustainability that characterize Hortipower. Vitapower quickly proved to be a success, with the company increasingly integrated into the activities of both Hortipower and Tomeco.
John Vermeiren and Dirk Van den Plas, founders of Hortipower, will also remain involved with Vitapower, in addition to their important roles in influential Belgian horticultural organizations. As proud members of Tomeco, they actively contribute to the progress of the sector, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
At Vitapower, it's all about pure taste. One of their favorite applications? A bowl of steaming tomato soup, full of San Marzano tomatoes; simple but full of character.
